Specials on my weekly menu often sell out quickly - they’re popular but also many are mixed in my superb mixer. The max capacity is 5kg dough but I often push it to 6kg to get as many special loaves out to you.

These are my 💯 % wholemeal - a mix of T150 and wholemeal rye and wholemeal spelt. A handful of cut rye is also added.

I hope you enjoy them.

So sad as it’s Billy’s last day delivering for Lucy’s Loaves. He has a “proper” job now!!

Billy has been amazing over the last year, always smiling, always sorting out my packing mistakes and he know everyone in St Margarets. He will be missed.

So guess who will be doing the deliveries from now on (until I find a replacement). Yes it’ll be me! Please be patient - your order will be with you by 4.30. I may not be as smiley as Billy but I will knock on your door and say hello 👋

A moment of calm on a super busy prep day.

After being mentioned in article, orders have sky-rocketed. A huge thank you to those who are trying Lucy’s Loaves for the first time. I hope you love my bread and goodies. And also to those who have stuck by me through the last 5 years.

I’m waiting for the next series of stretch and folds of the bread dough and also waiting for the rye bread to prove before being baked.

90+ loaves and almost 70kg dough being prepped today with buns, bagels and cakes thrown in. All baked in fantastic

What a delightful surprise to be included in article on microbakeries.

The GOAT of pastries - definitely one of my favourites. Must be eaten on day they are made, canelé are delicious morsels from Bordeaux. A crisp caramelised exterior with a soft custard interior. A touch of rum is added for an extra 💣!
