We're heading to Tavistock! 🪿🍪

This Wednesday 14th October is Goosey Fair, and you'll find us there from 9am. Over 200 stalls, street food, fairground rides, and a tradition dating back to the 12th century. We're slightly in awe of that.

Come and say hello, grab a cookie sandwich make a day of it. 🧡

As the busy summer months fade and we take a breath, I've been thinking a lot about balance lately. I know the years when the kids are little are brief — but finding that balance is hard when the whole family relies on you working your backside off to keep a roof over your heads and food on the table. 🙏

The quieter spell between summer and Christmas always gives me a chance to reconnect with the people who matter most.

This week could have looked very different. The gearbox went on Gareth's van — he's had it 15 years, and it was already 10 years old when he got it! We were weighing up whether to repair it when he spotted a T25 locally on Marketplace for near enough the same price as the repair bill. A bit of MOT history research later… he went for it. 🚐

We've both always loved the old VW campers, and honestly? All we can see is family adventures ahead. It needs work, but we've got the passion.

This weekend we headed out to Poldhu for stone skimming and hot chocolates, and stopped by Ann's Pasties and Vickies Bread in Helston for a proper treat. 🍫

I was working Sunday at Flicka Donkey Sanctuary, but Gareth sent me a video of Beau teaching Kai how to ride his bike. I could have cried. 🥹

These are the moments. 🤍
