A little bit about the woman behind Whisk & Bake… 🩷🎂
It still feels a little surreal saying that I’m a full-time cake maker. I started Whisk & Bake in 2024, never really knowing where it would take me, and by March 2025 I’d taken the leap from part-time to doing this full-time. 🥹
Behind every cake you see on this page is me — Dominique. Mum of 3, chocolate fudge & salted caramel lover, perfectionist when it comes to buttercream 🙈 and someone who genuinely still gets excited about creating every single cake.
And although cake is now my world, there’s a little more to me than piping bags and buttercream… I’m a saxophone player with a Jazz Master’s degree AND a qualified management accountant! 🎷😂 Not always what people expect when they meet their cake lady!
Whisk & Bake has grown into something I’m incredibly proud of, and I’m so grateful to every single person who has ordered, recommended me, shared my work or trusted me with a cake for one of their special moments. 🫶🏼
There are still plenty of dreams on the list too… taking my 3 children to Florida and one day making a cake for Stacey Solomon being two of them! ✨
