Almost 9 months in to this adventure and not regretting a moment of choosing to slow down & explore more!
Discovering new countries, different cultures, plentiful sea life and hours cherishing our girls’ childhood.
Life on the boat isn’t always easy, but with each challenge we take it head on. The girls are learning so much about themselves & how common sense is equally important to academic knowledge.
Life is worth living, sometimes you just have to take a big leap!

The girls had a cheeky lie in last week (on a school day!) so I took the opportunity to bake them off some special, cinnamon raisin bagels. 🥯 Warm & ready from the oven when they woke up. Fuelling homeschooling with one small bribe at a time!

Thanks to .eats for the super easy recipe. She said in her post ‘if you only have time to make one of my recipes, make this!’ I couldn’t agree more. Everyone devoured them! 🙌

‼️6 months! Truly cannot believe we have been living aboard ‘Tropical Dreams’ for 6 months. We have all learned so much about ourselves as a family, facing challenges, learning to sail with the guidance of our captain & meeting a whole medley of new friends!
Grateful for this opportunity to spend some slow time with my little tribe.

Officially Grenada’s cutest residents! The Mona Monkeys are thriving here in Grand Etang reserve. We were lucky enough to interact with a couple of the resident babies. They are inquisitive, cheeky, gentle & clean. They stored pieces of bananas in special sacs inside their throats to take back to the hundreds strong, monkey troop and share!

The Big Daddy, Solomon, carefully watched over the interaction and gave his approval.
Definitely a highlight for the girls and us!
