Happy bank holiday Monday! The sugar parlour bake shed will be open today from around 11.30 as I’m just getting it stocked up ready for you 🧁

Tomorrow I will be completing some orders for gluten free scones. I will be making both plain and cheese scones. If you would like to order any drop me a message. They can be frozen then taken out and warmed up when you want to eat them.

I prefer to do all my gluten free baking on a day when I am not baking anything else in order to reduce the risk of cross contamination. I bake regularly for several people who are gluten intolerant including my dear Granny and have never had any issues. I take special dietary requirements very seriously and therefore I am always very transparent that although I use a separate stand mixer and utensils and sanitise everything I do prepare other items that do contain gluten (not at the same time) in the same kitchen. It is entirely up to the individual if they wish to proceed with an order and I totally respect their decision.

You will notice that when I add items to my menu it will say “made without gluten” as opposed to “gluten free” and this is for the reasons above. My kitchen would have to be entirely free from any gluten to be certified as gluten free.

I can also make most things dairy free (these have become very popular) and have several vegan options too so don’t ever feel that you have to miss out. I’m always happy to discuss your requirements with you and include any of your favourites on my menu so feel free to make suggestions 🍰

Happy Sunday. We are open from now until 10pm or sell out! It’s our 1st birthday weekend so don’t forget to grab some free sweets, cookie and bubbles while you’re there. You might even be lucky enough to find one of our brand new pin badges 👀

We will be open today from 11am! I’m just dropping the biggest one to work and I’ve got some cheese scones in the oven.

Also topped up on a fresh coffee cake as that sold out yesterday and more birthday cookies that’ll be a free treat to all visitors to the bake shed today as a thank you for your support. Don’t forget we have bubbles and sweets for the kiddies too!

Apologies for the delay this morning… my labelling machine and I are no longer friends 🤦‍♀️ Sod’s Law I need my tech expert hubby when he’s away working. Hopefully all will be sorted in time to open at 11am. Also the weather is disgusting so I don’t want to drown or end up with soggy cakes getting the shed filled up. Will let you know as soon as it’s open!

In the meantime it’s our 1st birthday weekend so we have free sweets and bubbles in the shed PLUS birthday cookies! If you see them in the shed help yourself to one with your order. They are FREE to say thank you for your support over the last year.

You can still place a pre order for delivery this evening if you would rather stay in the dry. I don’t blame you! ☔️
