Please don’t forget I only work 3 days a week now (Tues-Thurs) so no rush orders can be accommodated at any point throughout the year so please consider my capacity to complete orders to fit your bookings diary.

Hello Everybody

Last chance for lace orders before I break for Christmas is Friday 8 December, all orders will have to be Royal Mail 1st Class (@£5.55) OR Royal Mail special next day (@£8.50) and I won’t be held responsible for late deliveries stuck in the usual Christmas post delays.

Please bear in mind I already have a bursting order book so if you need to order please make sure you state the following to give me as much info as possible to schedule this weeks diary:-

1. What design(s) you need
2. Your tier sizes
3. Your colour choices
4. Which postage option (1st class or next day)
5. When you need the order to arrive by.

Postage costs went up last month so in the New Year my postage costs will align with the new Royal Mail postage rates however they are still at previous RM rates till the end of the year.

Thank you to all my customers who have made allowances for my medical status throughout 2023, you all mean the world to me.

All that’s left to say is Merry Christmas everybody and I wish you all a Happy, Healthy and Busy Caking New Year in 2024.

All my designs, in one place, my updated design catalogue is now available.

When you message your requirements, all I need to know is the size of the tiers, the design you've chosen, the colour you require, whether you'd like a spare and your requirement date. I work out how many pieces you need and when is the best time to produce and post.

Please bear in mind that I need a fair production time but more importantly, delivery time with Royal Mail has to be factored in. If you work/live in a slow delivery area, it's important to order in time to avoid last minute stresses. I send everything signed for and provide the tracking numbers on the day of dispatch.

With regard to colours, I use Rainbow Dust Progels, if you know the colour name from Rainbow let me know, or if the colour is a little more unusual, send me a swatch photo and Ill match it as best I can taking into account photos on screen can never truly be relied upon.

All my lace is good for up to 12 months from the date I make it, as long as its stored flat, in my packaging in a dark'ish, dry, flat area, so if you want to make the most of postage and look through your order book, you can bulk order and I'll confirm capacity.

Please don't use the 'Meta Appointment System', it doesn't work all the time and can lead to confusion, a message will do fine.

Enjoy looking through the photos, I have slightly amended my prices with effect from 1st August taking into account energy rises and fuel to get to the post office.

I absolutely love this wedding cake from Milly over at Fb:Milly's cakes and events

Milly has used Claire Bowman’s Victoriana on the second tier and Crystal Candy’s Graceland on the fourth tier in a custom colour. She sent me a photo of one of her roses to match the lace to so I mixed the green as close as possible which as a wet mix doesn’t look quite dark enough but always dries deeper.

CUSTOMER APPRECIATION POST

I love to see some of my unusual lace designs being used with style, Judith from Judith Auten Wedding Cake Design has created this beautiful Communion Cake with the Garden Trellis lace design. It’s a tricky design to use because there isn’t really anywhere to hide glue spots and being in a navy background, Judith couldn’t use a slight covering of Royal Icing so has used piping gel.

I really love this cake design, thank you Judith for providing this photo x
