Every year for Christmas I make a Yule log, this year's I decided to make a yule stump! This is a vertical cake with chocolate sponge, mint buttercream and coated in whipped chocolate ganache. Covered in chocolate shards and some meringue mushrooms (and a quick fondant robin!) Little bit fiddly but fun to make!
