Best way to start a Sunday is with a leisurely breakfast. My favourite at the moment is wholemeal kefir pancakes topped with apple and cinnamon and Greek yogurt. Idea for apple with thanks to as ate some delicious pancakes there a while ago now. We now are lucky enough to have a milk machine in the village via but locally there are quite a few places to get your refillable milk from now. My last mention is the magazine as subscribe to which is these times is even more important to fill your head with positive news as there is more than enough negative elsewhere. Enough now but thought worth a mention, especially the local companies.

Out walking the dog up at Milton Abbas in the cooler air today plus a visit to Steve at steeptonbillfarmshop for milk refill and eggs. No posts for a while as stopped baking for profit before Christmas. Still bake because I love it but for family and me. My own therapy during these unusual times. I have to feed and look after these and in return I get milk kefir, fizzy water kefir and rye and white sourdough. Milk kefir I think I have got the hang of but still experimenting with the water kefir. Bubbles are good but some have had a tad too many. Delicious regardless. Lemon and ginger is my favourite so far.
