One of the biggest differences in Korean buttercream flower technique? The nozzles.

In Korean piping, nozzles are often hand-adjusted. That small change makes an enormous difference to how your petals form, how they sit, and how lifelike the flower looks.

The right nozzle shape does most of the work for you.

Save and share this with someone who wants to learn flower piping.

Every element of your wedding day has been chosen with intention.
The venue that made you both catch your breath when you first walked in. The flowers that carry a scent you'll remember decades from now. The dress that made everything feel suddenly, completely real.

Your cake deserves that same consideration.

At my studio, I design wedding cakes that belong to the day entirely.
Every bloom is piped by hand in buttercream, shaped to echo your florals, complement your colour palette, and feel unmistakably like you. We don't use silk flowers. We don't replicate the same design twice. Every cake is genuinely, quietly bespoke.

The process begins with a conversation. I want to understand your day, your aesthetic, the mood you're creating. From there, we build your design together, flavour by flavour, tier by tier, petal by petal.

Our taster boxes allow you to explore flavours before committing, so the first time you taste your wedding cake, it already feels right.

We are proud to be a recommended supplier at one of the UK's finest luxury hotels and work alongside some of the country's most respected wedding planners and stylists.

If you're planning a wedding and you'd love a cake that people will still be talking about at the evening reception, please do get in touch.

The secret to lifting flowers off your nail without ruining them?

Spin the nail as you scoop underneath with your flower scissors. Rather than pulling straight up, let the rotation do the work. The buttercream releases cleanly, and your petals stay perfectly in shape.

It sounds small, but it makes all the difference.

This one almost made it to a styling shoot with .
Almost.
A diary mix-up meant I didn't show up, but Sarah was so understanding and kind. This cake deserved its moment in the light, and sometimes, despite how hard you try to hold everything together as a mum, a maker, and a one-woman business, life has other ideas.
But I'm sharing it anyway, because it's too beautiful to stay hidden.

Summer garden roses in the softest blush. Did you know the rose is June's birth flower?
It means more to me than I can quite explain. June is the birth month of my business, my mum, and my husband.
Three of the important chapters of my life, all in one month.
I'm already thinking about creating another version of this cake to celebrate all three. Would you like to see that?

How to make your buttercream flowers look more premium.

1. Don't release your bag too early. Finish squeezing first, then pull away at the same time. If you pull back too soon, you take the buttercream with you.
2. Never drag your tip. Always finish your petal by returning to where you started. Dragging leaves rough, uneven edges that no amount of chilling will fix.

These two habits alone can transform the finish of your flowers. Try them and tell me what you notice.

Before you fall in love with a wedding trend, ask yourself one question: does it actually suit you?

I used to be a fashion jewellery designer, and now I work in weddings as a cake artist, so here’s my honest advice.

First, choose one or two trend-led elements at most. Usually, the most elegant bridal looks are the ones that feel intentional.

Second, think about what will still feel like you when you look back at your photos. A trend should elevate your look, not overpower it.

So if you’re choosing your wedding style right now, pick the trend that fits you, not just the one you keep seeing online.

My daughter’s birthday cake. A cheeseboard as a cake stand. A blender where a mixer should have been.
And somehow, in all that chaos, something clicked.

That was the beginning of everything.

I still get excited when I think about the fact that I won a Great Taste Award. I was almost in shock when I saw the email.

My Korean family were visiting at the time, and we were inside a beautiful quiet church doing some sightseeing. I brought everyone outside and we danced in the park.
What a memory!
Part 2 is coming.
