📢‼️📢Business update for 2023....
It's been a hard decision for me to make, but I have decided to go back into employed work, which means that going forward I won't be taking on any large cake orders (don't stress if you've got one booked in/deposit paid already, I'm still doing those 💗)
I may still do some seasonal items for mother's day, fathers day, Christmas etc, or I may continue in a smaller way such as postal biscuits/chocolate products etc but this will be on a small scale as my job will now take priority. I'm not entirely sure what I'll do with my business going forward, and will make that decision in due course when I'm settled in my new role.

The last 6-9 months have been extremely hard for so many small businesses, the ingredients and products/packaging I use have all gone up and continue to rise, its so hard to maintain a price that means you're not working for nothing. Not to mention the rises in minimum wage, with the additional rise coming in April, when you sit down do the maths it's just not viable anymore. On a busy week I'll be working all day and night, most days, and when you see what's left when costs are subtracted, and add on all the hours you put in that don't come in the cost of the cakes, like messaging, accounting, planning, paperwork, buying stock etc and you're not making mimnum wage it's time for a change.

I also have soooo much cake stuff, equipment, packaging, market stall stuff etc that I will start working through and sell the things off that i will no longer need, and then I can regaing my kitchen back 😆🤦‍♀️ so keep your eyes peeled for some cakey bits selling posts, or let your baker pals know to keep an eye out.

I'm sad but also relived to be moving forward. I've also got about 9 months worth of cakes to share with you all that I've never had chance to post so will be putting all the work I've done on here over the next few days 💗🍰🎂🍪

Please be kind to your local small self employed businesses, they're probably busting a gut and getting crap money for it ☺️

I would like to wish all my customers a very merry Christmas and send a massive thank you for shopping small and local with me this year. Its been a non stop hectic month and a half, but I got there. 🙌 Now for a few days off with family. 🥂🍽🍗🎄🎁🎅👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

If anyone would like to come tonight instead of tomorrow then I'm home....can collect tonight from 5pm-8pm.
I've also added another collection of Thurs morning 9am-10:30am.

Weds 21st 5pm-8pm
Thurs 22nd 9am-10:30am & 7pm-8pm
Fri 23rd 8am-11am & 6-8pm
There are no collections on Christmas eve.
