Favourite cake flavour of the year?

No surprises, it was my classic vanilla cake. Layers of light vanilla sponge filled with strawberry preserve and smooth Madagascan vanilla buttercream. It’s no wonder this was a favourite, what is there not to like and you know every guest will enjoy this flavour!

One thing on my list to do in 2026, is revisit my flavours and look to add a couple more to my menu which will make your wedding cake even more special.

Gardening themed birthday cakes are a really popular request and I always make a sponge that I colour to give the effect of edible grass to decorate them with.

So after the last few days of teasing you that something new is coming, the day is finally here and I am so excited to introduce my new name, Petal & Tier.

This rebrand has been a while in the making. In the last couple of years, I have been specialising more in creating beautiful wedding cakes, which I have absolutely loved. I have invested so much in this area of my business and I wanted to have a brand which better reflects this and my style today.

Thank you so much to Hannah for my beautiful branding and all your support

I have a new website too and would like to thank Heather for this and her patience with me throughout this process

I just want to say a huge thank you to Kate as well for helping me to get to this exciting stage of my business.

This delicious slice of cake is giving me summer vibes.

Light raspberry sponge enriched with fresh raspberries and filled with smooth silky white chocolate buttercream.

There might be other flavours on my cake menu which are typically more winter flavours but this one is definitely still a firm favourite of mine throughout this season 💕

Taste is so important to me which is why all my wedding cakes are made using the finest and freshest ingredients. Then for a truly indulgent taste, the cake is covered with Belgium white chocolate ganache and finished off with luxury fondant.
