To the impatient and angry man in the grey car with Gemini Accident Repair Centre stickers, leaving the M62 at j24 around 2.15pm today, yes, I was taking the slip road and corners extra steady. I was delivering a veryyyyy tall two-tier cake, as the enormous yellow “CAKE ON BOARD” sign might have explained, had you been paying more attention to that than waving your arms about and yelling abuse at me.

There was an expensive cake in my boot, that had taken me hours to make, and I intended to deliver it to my customer in the same shape it left my studio. Two tiers, upright. Call me fussy 😂🫠

You can wave your arms all you like mate, this cake lady won’t be rushed. ✋🏼

With “Accident Repair” stuck all over your car, I’d have hoped braking distance was your speciality…

I don’t want to be dramatic… but I’ve only had TWO (oh wait… THREE) orders and Mr Bakezilla is dangerously close to having a quiet Friday evening 😂💔

Weather cooling down, nights are getting darker sooner… It’s practically compulsory to get cosy with a brew and something delicious 🍂

Just £3 a slice, with FREE local delivery tomorrow evening, collection from Mirfield or UK postage available 📦

Every order makes a difference to my little business, and lets Mr Bakezilla live out his delivery-driver dreams. Like Postman Pat, but with brownies and a wife telling him where to go 😂❤️

Save a brownie. Keep a husband busy.
