BOSTOCK! We’re bringing back our lovely Bostock this year with a festive twist! Mince Pie Bostock! Our delicious Mince Pies, made with our Vanilla Guys flavoured Pâte Sucrée Pastry, filled with our 6-month matured mince meat. Each one is lovingly made by hand, no machines, pie presses or big scale manufacturing. These are small-batch carefully thought out mince pies. Apple Strudel product testing.. (it’s a tough job but someone has to do it! 🤣) Traditionally-ish made Viennese Strudel, apples, rum-soaked sultanas, Loaf-Shack-Special-panettone breadcrumbs, cinnamon and sugar in our house-made paper-thin strudel pastry. Served of course with fresh whipped cream and homemade vanilla custard using Vanilla Guys pods of course. To say this was delicious would be an understatement.

Testing out an idea for one of this year’s Christmas Catalogue Specials… Apple Strudel! So, I made some panettone earlier on in the year and as breadcrumbs are included in the strudel I thought the panettone would add additional flavour. So I made some breadcrumbs, cooked it in butter and voila! Super tasty panettone breadcrumbs!

Our almond croissants! This has to be one of my most popular items. We take one of our baked hand-laminated croissants, dip it in our almond syrup and fill with our almond frangipane made with a rich pastry cream. Top with more frangipane and flaked almonds and bake, then finish off with a good dredge of icing sugar. I can see why they are one of most popular items.
