π A little honesty from behind the scenes of Cherry Blossom Bakesβ¦ πΈ
Iβm not going to lie, Iβve been feeling really disheartened when it comes to recent cake stalls π
Spending 20+ hours baking (which would have been sooo much longer if I didn't have the support and help from Chris), preparing, packaging and getting everything ready for a stall, putting so much love, time and money into everything, only to come home having hardly sold anything, is honestly heartbreaking.
People see the finished bakes on the table, but they donβt always see the late nights, the early mornings, the hours of hard work and the costs that go into every single item π₯Ί
I absolutely love baking, and Cherry Blossom Bakes is something I put my heart and soul into, but sometimes itβs hard not to question whether itβs all worth it...
BUTβ¦ to every single person who comes back to buy from me, places an order, recommends my little business, shares my posts or takes the time to support me β THANK YOU. π©·
You probably don't realise how much it means to me. Every returning customer, every order and every kind word reminds me why I started doing this in the first place. You are genuinely appreciated more than you know. πΈ
I know not every stall will be a success, and I know there will be ups and downs, but that doesn't make it any less difficult when you've put so much into it.
I'm not posting this for sympathy, just being honest about the reality of it all. Behind every bake is a real person trying their best to make something they're proud of π©·
So here's to picking myself up, dusting off the cake crumbs and carrying on, even when it's hard.
Thank you for supporting Cherry Blossom Bakes, whether you've been here from the beginning or have only recently found me. Every single bit of support matters.
