One chapter ending, a new one beginning ✨
After over 20 years, we decided as a team to make 2024 our last year making cakes. We decided that we wanted our last cake to be a real celebration of Amerton Cakes and with my own wedding planned for September this year, we knew this was the perfect opportunity to do this.
Eileen started making cakes back in 2000 whilst working at Amerton Bakery, and then in 2007 she took the leap and opened Amerton Cakes as her own business. I (Lucy) joined the business a few years later after finishing university, and so the mother and daughter partnership was born. Since then, we have created so many amazing cakes for our lovely customers! We have loved every minute!
What’s next?
Eileen is taking a much deserved retirement and planning on enjoying spending time with our growing family.
I opened a bridal shop in Stone last year called which I will be taking on full time after my wedding this weekend!
We want to thank all our customers, staff members, family and friends, your support has been incredible!!We will miss designing and creating beautiful cakes but we felt that the time was just right and we could really celebrate the amazing success that Eileen started all the years ago!
