Hello all,

I know it’s only been a short amount of time since I started Pricey Bakes, but it is with a heavy heart that I have decided to take a step back for now. It has been an honour to bake so many beautiful cupcakes and cakes and feel appreciated.

I still have a few orders to bake just yet, but from 31st Jan, I won’t be taking any new orders. (Don’t worry, if you’ve ordered for any time after that, your bake is still in the diary).

Unfortunately, it just isn’t manageable whilst working full time, anyone who bakes knows the time that goes into a cake.

It’s not goodbye forever, just for now.

Yesterday I had the pleasure of doing my best friend’s wedding cake. After a lot of stress, I managed to get the cake 40 mins on the motorway, and arriving in one piece. And I’m pretty sure it went down well 🤍 especially as a very cute 3 year old food critic helped himself to some icing before the cake was cut 🙈

Bottom tier:
Chocolate sponge with chocolate buttercream and a Nutella centre 🍫

Top tier:
Lemon drizzle sponge with lemon buttercream and homemade lemon curd, thanks to my clever auntie 🍋
