No cakes today… just bread and another very important project 🥖🐠

I promised my little one she could have her very own little aquarium in her room, so we spent all morning setting it up together. Soil, plants, water, filter… and lots of excitement! 💦🌿
Don’t look for the fish yet 👀 We’re doing it properly and cycling the tank first before welcoming her very own betta fish. Because even tiny pets deserve a safe little home before the big move-in day 💙
So today’s bake was bread… and memories. And honestly, I think both turned out pretty special. 🥹

I can’t believe I let the kids talk me into this… 🤣

It’s 30°C outside and here I am, switching the oven on like a woman with absolutely no survival instinct.
But to be honest… they didn’t have to convince me too hard, because I was craving pizza too. 🍕🔥

Nothing makes me happier than seeing my bread enjoyed at home by my lovely customers 🥰

Today I received pictures of a traditional savoury snack served with my homemade sourdough bread… and honestly, this is exactly why I love baking. Simple food, good bread, happy people ❤️

Made a cake for myself… but apparently the kids had other plans and zero patience for decorating 🤣

So here it is in all its “naked but delicious” glory: moist chocolate sponge, chocolate cream, almond praline and bananas.
It may not be dressed up, but trust me… it didn’t need makeup to be dangerous 😍🍫🍌

I said “just one bite” and somehow half disappeared. Baker’s quality control, obviously. 😅
