TOMORROW IS MARKET DAY 🥳
On a serious note this last post before tomorrow is a reminder what we are raising funds for.
Andys Man Club Skelmersdale Andys Man Club
This group/charity has been created to help men. To help men know that there is someone there who will listen to them and hear their voice. Many men feel trapped in the stigma that they have to "be strong", "be a man", "you're a man so what problems do you have?", "men don't cry"..... This stigma needs to be broken.
There are more men committing su***de each year than women because of the stigma.
This is why "Andy's Man Club" was set up.
Every Monday across the country there are "Andy's Man Clubs" where on the same day and at the same time the venues open for men to come in and talk.
They are not put under pressure in any way. They are not judged. Their voice can simply be heard.
There is a "Andy's Man Club" here in Skelmersdale.
So, we have the two raffle prizes and of course the sweets in a jar but we also have Janes Jams who is selling her freshly made scones with jam and cream for £1 and that goes straight into the donation tin.
Ellie Bear Makes has also said that 20% of her taking tomorrow will get donated to the cause.
