I didn’t win but really enjoyed the baking part of it.

Realised I haven’t baked or posted in awhile, life is getting away with us at the moment.
But baked this for our friends 40th! She is obsessed with hot pink! So decided to theme the cake around her obsession.
What do you think?

Having covid really made me miss baking.
I didn’t have the energy of the strength to do it. But isolation has ended and I’m also back to normal.
So took it easy and makes cheese and sun dried tomato bread.
It tasted amazing, I was worried I couldn’t taste it. So added lots of cheese, sundried tomatoes, and herds.
Really hit the spot toasted with melted butter.

Not baked in awhile due to life and work in general! But I’m way back!
Festive cakesicles were requested and here they are! Ordered by a friend for their sons birthday! Hope they don’t disappoint!

Not baked in ages due to workload.
But managed this for 2 friends birthday.
Malteaser cake! Was actually really tasty!
Time to plan the Xmas Yule logs for Xmas this year! Orders are coming through already!!

Happy 1st birthday Custard! Can’t believe how quick you have grown! The year has been made so much fun because of you!
Home baked doggy birthday cake! He devoured it within seconds! That’s a great compliment as he’s so fussy!

Apologies for the lack of baking! It’s my 40th in October and felt like I’ve spent the whole month celebrating!
The problem with being an amateur baker is the expectations of having to bake your own cake….
So for my family I baked this, a red velvet and oreo cheesecake.
It’s a very simple bake, due to not having much time so had to make something quickly.
It was lovely! It was slightly overbaked but it still tasted amazing

Not baked in a couple of weeks due to over whelming stress. But decided to go all out for my first cake bake!
I mean who doesn’t love pandas!? Decided to try and make bamboo icing around the side.
The bake is a chocolate sponge cake with layers of velvety creamy frosting!

Baking made this week! My evenings has been intense!!
Through the week I have made lots of chocolate brownies! With either crushed Oreo or chocolate chip cookies in top, they have a fun size Mars bar in the centre! Can’t get anymore chocolatey than that. Jammie dodger blondies and biscoff blondies!
Also made a pistachio Bundt cake with milk chocolate ganache with crushed pistachio on top! It was so light and fluffy and the pistachios mixed in really added a lovely texture!
Hope the rain hasn’t dampened everyone’s Wednesday!!

It’s been a crazy couple of weeks but baking is now back on the agenda!
What better way to enjoy a Sunday dinner that with friends and a fresh home baked cheesy, chicken, herb and garlic tear and share bread!
The bread was lovely and light! Luckily the heat today really helped it rise!
What better way to mop up all that gravy then with this tasty bread!

Decided to combine 2 childhood treats into one! 2 good things makes them awesome!
Rice Krispie squares on top on chocolate brownie or blonde base!
Have to say I was worried it would be too sweet, but it actually had a good balance and the crunch of the Rice Krispies really made them amazing!
100% give then a go! Potentially adding these to the ordering if they pass the stress test if the postage!

Been a busy couple of days! But managed to get two birthday cakes done for the weekend!
There is a chocolate and strawberry cream cake. This is done as a naked cake with strawberries layered in-between each layer
The second is a chocolate truffle cheesecake with a pure chocolate spread on top!
