Had the absolute most amazing day today at the 1st Ford Rainbows Fun Day! 🥰

I met so many wonderful people and treated myself to some lovely little goodies too - including a Japanese algae ball 🥹, a hand-crocheted Highland Cow, a handmade mushroom bag, some beautiful kitty toys and some delicious homemade Kinder fudge! 😍❤️

And... I got to meet a praying mantis!! 🥹🙌
What more could I ask for?? 🥰

I was so happy with the brilliant turnout, and I’m truly so grateful that I get the chance to attend such special community events 🥰

10 inch double layer Shrek birthday cake, created specially for someone’s big day 🥳

It’s topped with a totally edible handmade Shrek topper 😍

I absolutely loved every minute of making this, especially all the piping work - it’s my favourite part of cake decorating and it was such a joy to bring it all together ✨

👉 Little fun Shrek fact for you all! Did you know the name ‘Shrek’ actually comes from the German and Yiddish word schreck, which means terror or fright? 😂 But don’t worry - this Shrek is 100% sweet, friendly and absolutely delicious, I promise!
