Cinnamon Buns... I think they're here to stay! 😍

My first ever batch of cinnamon buns and I think it's safe to say they were a hit!

In fact, they were loved so much that the customer has already booked a tray every month! 🥹✨

These soft, fluffy cinnamon buns are baked on a rich brown sugar and butter base, creating that irresistible gooey, caramelised bottom that melts into every bite. Finished with a generous cinnamon filling and baked until golden perfection.

Not bad for a first attempt if I do say so myself! 😏

So... I think that means these beauties deserve a permanent spot on the menu. What do you all think?

🤎 Cinnamon Bun Cake 🤎

This one is definitely for the sweet-toothed among us!

Four layers of fluffy sponge packed with caramel filling, finished with a rich caramel drip and topped with giant homemade cinnamon buns smothered in cream cheese frosting.

Safe to say you'd probably want to check your blood sugar after a slice of this one! 😂

A 3 layer chocolate sponge cake, stuffed with a milk chocolate filling. Can never have too much chocolate. Decorated in vanilla buttercream.

🖤 Happy Birthday to Charlotte's Bakes 🖤

I can't believe it's been a whole year since I started this little business!

A year ago, if you'd told me I'd have my hygiene rating, a growing list of regular customers, and be making cakes for so many of your special occasions, I'd have laughed in your face... and probably snorted for good measure. 😂

What started as a hobby and a dream has grown into something I am incredibly proud of, and that's all thanks to every single person who has ordered, shared a post, recommended me, liked a photo, or simply cheered me on along the way.

Recently, I mentioned that I want to start leaning more into horror, alternative, and spooky bakes, and honestly, I couldn't be more excited. Expect creepy, cute, gothic, weird, and wonderful creations alongside all the cakes you already know and love. 🖤

Thank you for supporting my small business through its first year. Every order means more than you know, and I can't wait to see what year two brings!

🌸✨ My second ever 2-tier cake and my biggest cake to date! ✨🌸

This beautiful 60th birthday cake was created for a very special lady. 💖

The brief was simple, pink, blue, flowers, her beloved pooch, and her love of walking. I absolutely loved bringing all of those personal touches together into one cake.

This was also my first time using a stencil on a cake, and I'm so proud of how it turned out! The textured finish added something extra special, and seeing everything come together made all the hard work worth it.

Just a little update from me 🖤

I’m currently working away at the moment, so replies may be a little slower than usual. I’ll be getting back to all messages tomorrow! thank you for your patience while I juggle running this business alongside working full time.

I’ll also be making some exciting changes to the page over the next few days, including finally posting my Terms & Conditions properly. Going forward, all orders will receive a copy of these and bookings will only be confirmed once the terms are signed and a deposit has been paid.

I’ll also only be accepting bookings directly through this page moving forward, just to keep everything organised and make sure all communication stays in one place.

I hate having to make things feel so formal, but recently I feel like people sometimes forget there’s an actual human behind the page too. I put so much time, effort, energy and love into every order whilst balancing everyday life and a full time job, so having clear boundaries in place is important for both myself and my business moving forward 🖤
