🍞 WE'RE HIRING — NIGHT SHIFT BAKER
📍 Stonehouse Bakery, Liverton Mines
No experience needed. We'll train you from the ground up.
💷 £12.80 an hour to start, rising to £13.20 once you've passed probation
💷 Sixth days at 1.25× your hourly rate — time and a quarter for the extra night
💷 Paid weekly, every Friday
🕔 The shift: 5pm start, five nights a week. Usually finished between 1am and 2am, with later finishes regularly during peak periods of higher demand.
📅 Your days off: The bakery operates six nights, Sunday through to Friday. You work five of them — so you get Saturday night off every week, plus one night off midweek.
🥖 The job: Mixing, baking and finishing our products, packing orders for our shops and wholesale customers, and keeping the place to proper hygiene standards. It's active work with plenty of lifting and carrying, especially when we're busy.
We're a family-run bakery, been going since 1993, supplying our own shops plus around 120 customers across the North East and North Yorkshire.
What you need:
✔️ To be reliable — turning up on time, every shift
✔️ Willing to learn and graft
✔️ Able to work at pace when it's busy
✔️ Your own transport, or live local
