She never measured anything.

That's the thing people forget about how mums baked. No scales, no recipe cards — a bit of this, a k**b of butter, "you'll know when it's ready." Every Sunday the oven went on, and the whole house knew about it. The smell got into your jumper. You'd hover by the kitchen door pretending you weren't waiting.

Most of us swore we'd carry that on. Sunday bakes, the warm kitchen, the lot. And then life happened — work, kids, the endless list — and the baking quietly never did.

Somewhere along the way, "treats" became something built in a factory. Made for shelf life, not for you. Forty ingredients, none of them in your mum's pantry.

We think that's a poor trade. So we bake the way she did — real butter, organic flour, free-range eggs, nothing strange hiding in it — fresh every day, and we'll bring it to your door, anywhere in the UK.

It won't be quite like hers. Nothing ever is.

But she'd approve. And she approved of very little. 🍫

Munchyhub started with a simple idea: the kind of treats you get from a really good bakery shouldn't be limited to the people who happen to live nearby.

So we started baking.

And over the years, the range has grown — but every new bake has had to earn its place.

Brownies came first.
The benchmark. Deep chocolate, a fudgy centre and that thin cracked top. Simple enough that there's nowhere to hide — which is exactly why getting a proper brownie right matters so much. Today we've built an entire collection around it.

Then came blondies.
Same indulgence, completely different character. Buttery and soft, with fruit and white chocolate able to take centre stage. Our Raspberry Jam Blondie quietly became one of the products people kept ordering again and again — and one of the bakes we now point people towards when they don't know where to start.

Shortbread was about layers.
Something familiar made properly: crumbly shortbread, caramel and chocolate. Nothing complicated for the sake of it. Just three things where every layer has to do its job.

Cookies were our answer to a different kind of craving.
Bigger, thicker, softer. The kind you break apart rather than politely nibble. Proper chunks of chocolate, real butter and a centre that still feels like a fresh bake rather than something designed to sit on a shelf for months.

And cakes are where things get even simpler.
No need to reinvent them. A good cake should taste homemade in the best sense of the word — soft, moist, familiar and made from ingredients you recognise. That's the standard we wanted to bring into the range.

Next, loaf cakes.
We're working on the kind of cake that needs very little introduction: cut a thick slice, put the kettle on, done.

And then, babka.
Rich dough, twisted with chocolate into layer after layer. More involved, more patient, and exactly the sort of thing we think belongs in the Munchyhub range.

Five categories are here now. Two are coming next.
Different bakes, same rule: make them the way we'd want them made for our own table.

Made like home. No compromise.

There's a reason a supermarket brownie can sit on a shelf for weeks, and ours can't.

Theirs was designed to. Ours was baked this week.

Everything on that label — the preservatives, the palm oil, the compound chocolate — is there to solve a problem we don't have. We bake with organic flour, real butter, free-range eggs and Callebaut Belgian chocolate, wrap every piece individually, box them up tight, and send them out fresh.

That's the whole difference. No secret, no clever marketing. Just what happens when you make something to be eaten rather than stored.

When did you last turn one over and read the label?

Boxes of 6 to 12, delivered anywhere in the UK. Link in bio.

What a great quick pop-up at Cortland at Colliers Yard !

Couple hundred , , and flew off the racks within few hours.

We didn't expect such positive reactions from people... but that goes on to say how nice and cool the people are at Cortland community! 😍

We're sorry we didn't have enough to feed everyone, but you can always get more at our Salford Quays bakery, order online, or just wait for the next pop-up event 😇

We’ve had red velvet on our mind for a while ❤️

Not because it’s trending — but because most of the time, it’s just… not done properly. Too artificial, too sweet, all colour, no depth.

So we took the best approach.

Started with a proper cocoa base 🍫, used Beetroot for the colour (nothing fake) 🌱, and worked it until it actually tasted like something — not just looked like it.

Added white chocolate through it 🤍, kept the centre soft and slightly gooey 🍪, and didn’t overcomplicate it.

That’s it.

It’s a Red Velvet cookie, but the way it should be done ✨

This one started in the bakery… and it didn’t stay low-key for long. We put it out, and people clocked it straight away.

“Matcha cookies?” — yeah. That. 🍵

A few batches in, it was clear we couldn’t just keep it in-store.
So we brought it online.

Matcha, white chocolate, soft centre — bold, a bit different, but it just works. 🍪

Now available online.

Sometimes the best Mother’s Day gifts aren’t things — they’re moments.

A brownie shared over coffee.
A quiet moment to sit down, talk and catch up.

That’s why a brownie box often feels more meaningful than traditional ones like flowers. It creates time together.

We wrote a short article about why sharing something freshly baked can make Mother’s Day feel a little more special.

Read it on our blog.

The Raspberry Jam Blondie.

It started as a simple idea: a soft blondie base, a generous layer of raspberry jam, and ingredients good enough that nothing needs disguising.

Over time, something became clear.
It was the product people kept coming back for. https://hrs.soundestlink.com/ce/v/0/699a3ec120810ef02c853d42
