🧵 Working ever so slightly longer than 9 to 5 on this today!! 🕰️

Largely due to the fact I had a big fail using my rivet press, I had to unpick and re-do the green flap completely - cut, sew, add hardware, edge coat - wait to dry, then attach and rivet. Let me tell you I’ve never been so nervous to use the green machine as I was after having it go wrong. Thankfully all went ok. 👌🏻

It’s not quite finished yet, I need to make the strap in the two vinyls - I’m just awaiting a delivery of contact adhesive, but isn’t she a beauty?? 😍🥰

Just a little celebratory jig this morning, 800 Followers of my page - now I know it’s not a massive number compared to lots of other pages - but it really is massive to little old me! Thanks so much for being here and supporting my little business! 🌟

Looking forward to a couple of things today:

1) Cracking on with a gorgeous new bag I have in progress - which I’ve shared a little snippet of below! This is definitely one for lovers of bold and beautiful! 😍

2) I’m feeling privileged to have a visit today from a special lady, well known in our local community for all of the fab work she does, she is coming to choose her fabrics for a bag - and I’m so excited to make it for her! 💕

We are into the 'ber' months now ( brrr 🥶 ) so we thought we would get ahead of the colder weather in last nights 𝑨𝒅𝒖𝒍𝒕’𝒔 𝑺𝒆𝒘𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑪𝒍𝒖𝒃.

Three draught excluders, made up of 12 strips of fabric, sewn together and stuffed. Don’t they all look fab?

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not really looking forward to the weather turning cold and wet, but it was certainly nice to have a cooler afternoon down in the studio. A rather productive afternoon at that - I now have 2 bags complete, 2 more in the very final stages. I absolutely love the purple grape colour 😍 which has a matching purse ready to go, I also have matching purses made to go with the yellow and pale blue bag. (Pale blue bag not pictured yet). Let’s hope my sewing mojo sticks around so I can get lots more patterns made up.🤞🏼
