Nothing says Sunday dinner quite like a good old-fashioned pudding! 🥰

When the family came over for Sunday dinner, their request was simple… “Can you make a proper old-school pudding with pink custard?” - How could I say no! So that's just what I did, old school chocolate sponge with pink custard 😋

There’s just something about a nostalgic school-day sponge, covered in pink custard, that brings back the sweetest memories. Safe to say this pudding was a winner with the family 🙌🏻

Sometimes the simplest puddings are the best! ❤️✨

From old-school favourites and nostalgic treats to brownies, traybakes, cakes and a few new bakes along the way, I’ve loved creating sweet treats for my family, friends and my lovely customers!

💙 My Little Mischief Maker 💙

My youngest may be a little mischievous, but he has the biggest heart of gold and he loves nothing more than being involved in the kitchen with Mum, showcasing his baking skills and, of course, sampling the recipe in between! 😂

I'm not quite sure how much actually makes it to the finished bake… but he certainly enjoys the taste-testing part! 🤭🧁

These little moments, full of laughter, mess and memories, are what baking with my kiddies is all about. ❤️🏡

Apparently my baking videos now come with special guest appearances! 😂👧👦

Expectation: A calm, uninterrupted baking video to showcase my gooey chocolate brownies 😋

Reality: "Mom, I want to do that bit, I want to put the chocolate chips in! My supervisor making sure he gets the best bits of the bake (I'm sure my little helper pinched a chocolate chip too!) 🤎

Life with children is beautifully unpredictable, an hour to myself is never really an hour to myself. But I wouldn't have it any other way 👩‍👧‍👦

📚 Every Recipe Tells a Story 🤎

This afternoon I had the chance to top up my recipe book, it's slowly growing with a mix of treasured family recipes, timeless classics and exciting new bakes that I'd love to try.

One day, I hope to pass this recipe book on to my children, so they can continue the tradition of baking for the people they love. I hope they'll add their own favourite recipes, make new memories in the kitchen and keep filling its pages for generations to come.

To me, baking isn't just about cakes and biscuits—it's about family, tradition, love and creating memories that are shared around the kitchen table. That's the heart of Momma Christmas Bakes, and I hope every bake I make carries a little piece of that with it.

👩‍👧 Baking Memories Together 🤎

Some of the best recipes are made with a little extra love!

Yesterday evening my daughter was my little baking assistant. I loved watching her enjoy mixing, measuring and learning. Times like these remind me that baking isn't just about creating delicious treats, it's about creating memories that will last a lifetime and be passed down to each generation 🥰
