I put a new handle on an old hammer head and turned something broken into something brilliantly useful. Not only that but it's a lovely peice of olive ash from one of my favourite places
The best bit is that the hammer belonged to my grandpa. When I showed my dad today he told me that he remembered his grandpa gifting his dad the hammer when he was a boy!
So now I have a lovely hammer that I have restored with love that is over 60 years old and once belonged to my great grandpa.

I was privileged to be asked to build the queens platinum jubilee bench for Outwood parish council. Here it is ring christened by the family and I last weekend in pride of place opposite Outwood windmill.

Here’s a new one!!! My current customer has built their kitchen extension over a well in the garden. Now this happens pretty often but unlike most people they have had it tanked and we are planning some bespoke CNC shelves to fit inside the 3m deep well. I’m just building the reclaimed Georgian oak well lid with a hatch at the moment.
