There was something about the way spoke about seeing and knowing someone she loved in their most vulnerable form that really stayed with me.

As a mother, when your baby comes into this world, you want to know every single ounce of them. Every tiny detail. You want to know them in their purest, most vulnerable form, before the rest of the world ever gets to.

Having had to say hello and goodbye to our little girl in such a short space of time, that perspective hit somewhere very deep.

I hope there will be a time in the future where Baby Loss Awareness Week won’t feel quite so raw, as it’s something I would love to participate in and use my platform to raise awareness for.

But right now, Soulie is at the forefront of my mind every single day. I don’t need a particular week to remember her, speak her name or feel her absence.

To every family remembering a baby this week, whether you’re sharing their story, quietly lighting a candle, or simply getting through the day, I’m thinking of you. 🤍
