❣️LAST CALL FOR CAKE❣️

Well, Chorley Market you have not disappointed me today, I’ve had the Busker all day singing her favourite four songs on loop, the Mormons have paid me a visit asking me to attend the temple, I’ve had the two gay men behind me burning incense and playing pan pipe music , i’ve had a balloon, a poem, a lovely card & plant and very optimistic customer has even given me his number !
I had a moment of weakness first thing this morning but other than that, it has literally been like any other market day .

The below items are available for collection from the stall up until 4 o’clock only and then from my house tomorrow so please get in touch if you would like anything reserving.

💜MY FINAL CAKE STALL TOMORROW 💜

Well, I can’t believe February has come round so quickly, and I’m really not ready for this to be the end but tomorrow is not only my 10 year anniversary on the cake stall, but also my last cake stall, I won’t say forever because never say never! But it is the end of me regularly attending Chorley Market 🥺

So my list is below of all the things I have made today, my oven has been on since 7.30am snd I switched it off at 8.15pm 🙈 I’ve managed to get through Emmerdale, Will and Harper, and two films as well! I am all TV’d out ha!

I’m quite confident that I have told the majority of you about the wind down of the cake stall, but I know there are still a couple of you that I haven’t seen, I’ve looked for you and tried to reach out to you but can’t seem to get hold of you, so if you are late to discovering me leaving or time has gone by and I’ve already left please trust that I am sorry I missed you and I did try to reach out to you.

I’m not exactly sure which emotional state you are going to find me in tomorrow, but I’m going to put my big girl pants on and try and get through the day whilst keeping it together, it’s going to be a really difficult day for me and even typing this out now makes me feel really quite sad, but I hate goodbyes so I will probably be overly casual about it as a way of coping 😭

I will keep this page open because you just never know 😉

It’s my PENULTIMATE cake stall tomorrow 😬

Eeeeeekkkkk trying not to think about this too much, February seemed yonks off when I first announced it and now it’s around the corner and gives me a nervous tummy ache when I think about it 🫤

So let’s pretend it’s not happening and carry on as normal for now ❤️

So tomorrow might be cold eh? I will be the girl wearing every single item of clothing I own and communicating with hand gestures and head nods 🥶🥶🥶🥶

❤️💚CHRISTMAS CAKE STALL💚❤️

Hi cake fans, it’s that time of the month again where your diets go out the window and I talk you in to buying enough cake to see you through until next month 😄👋🏻

I started baking at 7am and have just finished for the day but will be up at 5am to finish off slicing and packing. I’ve got through 4 Xmas films, Emmerdale and an ITV 4 part drama but it will all be worth it to see you all tomorrow 💖

I’ve done all my usuals but a few festive treats too,,I haven’t been able to try the cheesecake but I did thoroughly lick the whisk after I had finished using it and can confirm it was yummy.

I will be there from 8.30am and if you arrive and can’t see me, I will either have nipped to the loo or gone to get a jacket spud, so just sit tight 😘

Hey cake fans,

So, I have a bit of an announcement to make 🫣

This will probably come as a bit of a shock and I’m sorry I’ve not had chance to tell most of you to your face, but, after too-ing and fro-ing for a while now, I’ve decided to hang up apron and say goodbye to my cake stall 😭.

I very nearly did a video explaining myself, but we all know how much I can waffle on and the video would end up being a feature length film 😂 so thought I would just do this and then hopefully get to chat to you all before I leave, which will be Saturday 8th February, which will also be my 10 year anniversary on my stall!

This isn’t an easy decision for me, I love my cake stall and have poured my heart and soul into it.

So much has changed in 10 years, yet nothing has changed at all. I’ve bought 2 houses, set up a very successful beauty therapy business, adopted 3 cats and fostered more rabbits than I can even count, I reckon I am into 3 digits. But I’m still the only human in my little family and I’ve made no secret of the fact that I would love some human family members, so making space in my world is the first step.

I will still be there December and January and then February will be my last one, where you will find me in a pool of my own tears I imagine, but I will instruct you on how best to handle that nearer the time 😆.

I am so incredibly thankful to you guys, you make all the hours standing and cake eating worth it. I also feel that still having all my own teeth, not being obese and not developing diabetes during these 10 years is my biggest achievement in life 😆.
