In our , our new collaboration with , we’re investigating the role colour can play in cleaning up the biosphere.
A recurring theme is colour consistency. Synthetic colour is repeatable, codifiable and predictable. Can we, as consumers, let go of colour precision and embrace colour that fluctuates, fades and evolves? Can we accept that our top may be a slightly different shade to the one in the picture or the others in the store? Is there value in individuality or are our tastes too precise to make nuance enjoyable?
