After a lot of thought, I've made the decision to permanently close the Cake Shed.
As many of you know, the shed has been closed for the past few weeks while I've been dealing with pregnancy-related symptoms. During that time, I've had the opportunity to reflect on the future of the business and, unfortunately, with only a small number of regular customers using the shed, it is no longer sustainable to keep it running.
However, this is not the end of A Special Moment. ❤️
I will still be continuing my baking business from home and will remain open for pre-orders of treats, giant cookies, celebration cakes and other special occasion bakes.
I want to say a huge thank you to everyone who has supported the Cake Shed over the years. Whether you've popped in for a treat, placed an order, recommended me to friends or shared my posts, I truly appreciate every bit of support.
Whilst the Cake Shed is closing permanently, I'm not completely ruling out the possibility of reopening something similar in the future if demand is there. For now, though, I'll be focusing on made-to-order bakes and enjoying this next chapter with my growing family.
Thank you all for your continued support, and I look forward to creating plenty more special bakes for you in the future.
