A morning of baking and more jam making. I now have plum, strawberry and blackberry and apple jams. I also have both plum and blackberry and apple crumbles. Pop me a message if you'd like anything. Jam @ £2, crumbles @ £3 .

Today I baked from a very old recipe. I remember this treat as a child; my Nan baked it. It was chewy and delicious but I hadn't tasted it for many years. She wrote out the recipe for me and I recently rediscovered it.
It's just as good as I remember. I'm wondering if you recall this Anne Nelson ?? Date and walnut crispies and, yes, it was made with lard!
