Last year vs this year👀

Last year I worked with mainly fondant cakes, this year I’m booked in for more buttercream cakes
I’ve found a lot of people have said they don’t like much fondant because it’s sickly sweet, but they prefer my buttercream💁‍♀️
Here’s to perfecting buttercream techniques!

I will never give up on character toys though, they always look good on a cake and can be used to play with when the cake is served🤣

One thing about me, I never give myself enough credit for how my skills have developed through the last few years.
To look back at these photos, it’s like a timeline of my progress and documenting the challenges I set myself with each bake.
As a baker, you learn on the job. And no matter how many years experience you have, there’s always something new to learn.
From making brownies with my nieces, to realising that following in my nans footsteps making amazing cakes is what I want to do with my life.
I’m ever so thankful for those who continually support me, and those who regularly order🫶
