✨ Something a little different for Vicki’s Bakes! ✨

I’ve been busy behind the scenes trying out new recipes and developing lots of delicious treats… and I’m so excited to finally share them with you! 🧁🤎

I’ll be bringing Vicki’s Bakes along to Gortin Farmers Market on Sunday 1st November for my very first market stall, with a selection of homemade treats! 🍪

There’s been lots of work (and plenty of taste testing!) going on behind the scenes, and I can’t wait to put it all together and share it with you.

If you’re local, come along, say hello and treat yourself to something sweet!

A few days away in Lisbon with my hubby, but of course I couldn’t go a whole weekend without baking & I dragged my hubby along to a baking class in 30degree heat 😆

I couldn't come home without the secret to making the perfect, authentic Pastel de Nata. Crispy, flaky, and highly addictive—I’m convinced anyone who visits Portugal falls in love with these. 😍🍮

A very special cake for my very own little princess, who turned 5 last week. 💗 She requested rainbows and unicorns, so that’s exactly what she got! 🌈🦄

4 layers of chocolate sponge, chocolate buttercream and chocolate sauce between each layer. 🍫 I’d have remembered to get a picture of the inside if I was any good at this social media thing 🙈
