Another fantastic two days in Minas Gerais with Sancoffee . We had such a warm welcome and hospitality when staying at their home and visiting their labs. San coffee are producers and distributors for almost 600 farms of all sizes in this area. So we were able to see the difference between a site that handles hundreds of thousands of bags per year and a small farm house that handles only a few hundred bags per year.

So cool to visit Fazenda Vila Boa today - Which is where our single origin Brazil actually comes from !
We had a great tour around the fields, patios and machinery.
Then finishing the day with a cupping of their classic coffees and some more experimental coffees.

Spend a day with us at Fazenda Passeio :
1) Talk about micro lot and large production coffees.
2) Harvest and transport the coffee back to the farm house.
3) Dry the cherries on patios.
4) Or dry the cherries mechanically .
5) Use a pulping machine to separate the dry cherry and dry coffee bean.
6) Test the roasted coffee in a cupping.
7)Have an excellent bbq to celebrate a good day !
