🩷 What a fabulous week/weekend we've had. Very rarely all 3 of our girls home for the weekend and 2 of their partners.

Anyone that knows me knows how much I miss them, so happy mumma and dad for a few days.

Although sad now they have all gone and the house is empty.
1 back in Nottingham, 1 in Sheffield and 1 travelling back to Canada today.

Hope everyone had a lovely long weekend too.

Anyway, onwards and upwards, this is what 100 yummy fondant topped retirement biscuits look like. Lots of work, each painted with added little moulded fondant flowers. All individually wrapped and allergen labelled.

First coffee of the day, decaf ☕️, I'm running on adrenaline today!

I'm pooped now though, 100 cupcakes and a cake for a wedding tomorrow. Think I might need a glass of 🍷 later and rest my 58 year old legs 😆.

Wow 20 years, Happy Anniversary Chris.

Thank you for always being there for me and our girls.
They are all grown up and living elsewhere, miss them so badly, but they still need us sometimes 😉, and we're a bit greyer etc, but hey that's life!

But hey my customer was pleased so that's the main thing.

1st time making a lorry, made from rice crispie marshmallow squares and fondant. Everything edible apart from the polystyrene balls.

Cake was an 8" round, 4 layers of vanilla sponges, buttercream covered.
