It’s with a full yet heavy heart I am announcing the closure of Bonkers Bakes on 1st July 2024. What was a dream 16 year old me had in one of the hardest times of my life when I was battling with my mental health and found sanctuary in baking to my now almost 21 year old self who has achieved so much, from two 5 star hygiene ratings for two establishments, ran my own shop, met so many amazing people and made life long friendships. It’s now time to close the door on an amazing journey and move into a new start and a career.

Before I hit 16 and struggled I always wanted to go into a medical job, and now it’s time to get the pencil case and note pads back out, study, work hard and progress. I would like to thank so many people along the way, my amazing grandmother who supported me in every early morning and late night, my loving family that always were my biggest supporters, my incredible best friends that were always at my openings, my wonderful customers for always supporting me and loving my products and finally the 3 lovely directors of Malpas Court Social Enterprise for giving me the opportunity to keep my business going after my shop closure, Adam, Phil and Andrew your kindness will always be greatly appreciated you truly are the most generous and thoughtful men I know.

I am so grateful, my heart is full of love and joy for all I have accomplished at such a young age! Here is to the future 💗

Bonkers Bakes is fully stocked up at Malpas Court Mansion House Cwrt Café as usual and I’m very pleased to announce that we managed to get another 5🌟 hygiene rating under our wing today! Being a part of the Cwrt Café team is a genuine pleasure 💗

How are we in May already? I feel like there’s been a profound silence on here from me lately and that’s just because life has been so busy! But I am still filling up with orders regularly for BB which I’m so grateful for. I will be posting lots more over the next few weeks to really boost the page and get fully back into gear!

This year has been amazing so far with so much happening for BB! I am looking to host another pop up bake stall again soon but who would like me to set up a regular delivery every week? I feel like this would be so much easier for a lot of you to get hold of some tasty bakes. Let me know what you all think! 🚘
