Finally sorted the massive box of mooncakes moulds, all in their own little bags and labelled 💪💪

Yes I’ve jumped to mid autumn, new style boxes already ordered and should arrive very soon 🙌🙌

Also known as pineapple cake, tried a new way of baking these and outcome better than previous however I have a mix of colours, same batch, same oven, same tray, baked on same level, voila different colours 🤣🤣🤣 blame it on the oven!! 🤪🤪 anyways they taste nicer than before so that’s all it matters 😝😝

I’m waiting for new moulds to arrive, will test them out when I get them hopefully next week 🥳🥳

Homemade pineapple jam filling for pineapple pastries 🍍🍍

Pan full to begin with, technically from 3kg of pineapple to around 720g jam, you stand there for an hour or so just stir stir stir 😂😂

However homemade is the best 🙌🙌 just takes up a lot of time to make the jam 😊😊

I took ⬇️⬇️ the left pic and middle pic, then had a quick play and the right pic is AI, think I prefer my own pics more 😝😝

AKA purple balls 🤣🤣 pastry is very flaky, inside filling is red bean paste with a full salted egg yolk, sweet and savoury at the same time 🤪🤪

Recommend to bite into the whole ball (but not like stuff the whole ball in your mouth, although that’s quite impossible 😝😝) it tastes different if you cut it in half 🤣🤣🤣

Also available in matcha AKA matcha balls or black sesame AKA black sesame balls but black sesame filling will be black sesame paste with the egg yolk 🤪
