We are on our way to Witton Castle Country Market with an epic variety of treats today 🏰

This market has a huge variety of wonderful traders and is in the most beautiful setting. Have a browse, do a spot of shopping, get some lunch and get yourself some lush cake to take home!!

Prep started at 4am and we have lots of freshly baked cinnamon rolls (traditional, biscoff, Nutella or caramel apple crumble). Plus fresh cream pavlovas (strawberry or lemon), banoffee and key lime tarts and cream tea scone boxes.

Don’t forget we are happy to keep your purchases to collect on the way out!

We will always remember Sophie 🖤

On this day 19 years ago, Sophie Lancaster died following a brutal and unprovoked attack. She was just 20 years old.

Sophie was kind, intelligent and creative. She loved literature, alternative music and expressing herself through her identity.

On 11 August 2007, Sophie was attacked in Stubbylee Park, Bacup, simply because of the way she looked. She never regained consciousness and died 13 days later, on 24 August 2007.

What happened to Sophie should never have happened. And it should never happen to anyone else.

Today, we remember Sophie for who she was. Not just the victim of a horrific crime, but a young woman with a future, a voice and a right to live without fear.

Sophie’s story has become a powerful reminder of the impact of prejudice and hatred towards people who are seen as different. Her legacy continues through the work of The Sophie Lancaster Foundation, fighting for acceptance, understanding and respect for all.

We ask you to take a moment to think of Sophie. To think about the cost of hatred. To stand with all victims of hate crime and to treat people with the kindness and respect that we all deserve.

Nineteen years gone but never forgotten. 🖤

Happy Monday everyone 🥳 Just a quick shout out from us before a sneaky little week off 🤫 Thank you so much for everyone’s support this weekend. We were trading at two huge events, which are never easy to host. Both were filled with so much fun and the best of the best local traders 🖤 huge shout out to and for organising! Events are never easy and these guys are 10/10 ⭐️. And most of all thank you to everyone who decides to buy a little (little?? We don’t do small portions who am I kidding?? 😂) treat from us 🖤 we appreciate every single one of you for keeping our little goth bakery supported, full of love week in week out 🖤. This Sunday 26th July we will be at Witton Castle Country Park for their monthly market. It’s a stunning location with some amazing traders and free entry! Come and have a browse and get yourselves some scrummy cake - this month we are feeling fruity 🍒 🍋 🍋‍🟩 🥥 🍓

We will be there from 10.30am and often sell out, so visiting early is recommended 🖤
