Website

The Inky Nook with Carrie Bates Crafting is a great way to be creative and allows you to switch off from the million things going round in your mind as a mum/business owner/career woman.

Follow me, join me at class, or buy products from me and craft at home. I am a Mum to two teens and have a fab hubby who all support my small business. I love being a Stampin' Up! demonstrator and sharing my passion for creativity with busy women looking for some time for them. I also love gin, baking and reading and walks with our cockapoo and escaping to the North Norfolk coast. www.theinkynook.com.

This little bundle of joy turned 1 this week, isn’t she a cutie? I know I’m might be a little biased about my youngest niece 💖

It was fun getting creative making her a sweet birthday card. The alphabet a la mode dies are perfect for milestone birthdays and adding numbers to your handmade cards 🥳

Today I got to create with some of my fellow demonstrators - I even did some scrapbooking which was more fun than I remember. Will share the completed layouts once I’ve added photos !

This was a local meet up in Lincoln and we made cards to swap with one another and gave us chance to catch up with familiar faces and make new friends. It’s not just a business it’s a community that loves to share creativity 🥰

PS I forgot to take a photo of my swap so I’ll make some more up so you can see them !
