Granny McGregors Cakes N Bakes Baking and cake design has always been Lorraine's passion. Previously only her close friends and family have been fortunate enough to indulge.

Granny McGregor's Cakes N Bakes is based in the lovely village of Mosterton in Dorset. We were established in 2011 by Lorraine McGregor, owner and entrepreneur of The Little Coffee Pot which was based in Rochester High Street and where we gained a fabulous reputation for our home baking! With a little gentle encouragement however, Lorraine was convinced that she should share her heavenly cakes wit

h you. What followed was a dedicated process of avidly baking, often into the small hours, to perfect the ultimate texture of sponge and flavour combinations. Granny McGregor’s Cakes N Bakes was born! All our cakes are lovingly created, home baked, hand decorated and taste great!

When you've been shielding since march things can get you down .... So today on this very wet day I hasten to add! I decided to lift my mood with a bit of home baking for the soul. just a few mince pies a fresh baked loaf and some lemon 🍋 cakes made with fresh lemons and lemon juiced icing but a pure delight to eat simple pleasures in this mad time. Sometimes we just need the simple things in life to get us through the bad times even if just for a day ...... 😘
