r my sons birthday in June 2021, we got talking about day to day life and covid and customers that I had to deal with on a daily basis and told him I how unhappy I was. He asked me one simple question βwhat do you enjoy doing?"

Then he went on to say what have I got to lose, do what makes me happy, enjoy life, start your own business like he had done 20+ years ago and he hasnβt looked back. Time with the family, working your own hours. He truly sold it to me. I didnβt do anything straight away but his words stayed with meβ¦
It wasnβt until September that I actually did something. I saw an advert for a job at Biscuiteers, and if like me you know how talented the people are that work there you will know the excitement I had to apply for this job. I got a call back a week after my 90minute interview which was so nerve racking in its self. I didnβt know what to except. Turns out I had to decorate biscuits there and then and they mark me on my skills and will let me know if I got the job. I did get the job and started on the 1st of November 2021. So here I am 6 months later! The inspiration, the quality of biscuits, all of it made me want to give this βmy own businessβ thing ago.
