✨ MEET THE BAKER ✨

I’ve realised that I’ve been sharing lots of cakes with you all, but I’ve never actually introduced the person behind the page… so I thought it was about time! 🥰🎂

Hi, I’m Stacey — the face, the baker and very often the flour-covered hands behind Baked by Stacey! 😂

When I’m not baking, I’m a single mum to my amazing 12-year-old son, Noah, and we’re also kept company by our gorgeous dog, Gus 🐾❤️. We absolutely love travelling, exploring new places and making memories together, and next year we’re going to be broadening our horizons and heading to Bali! 🌴✈️ I honestly can’t wait!

Baking is actually my other world alongside a full-time job in finance. I’m also a qualified bookkeeper, so my life is basically numbers by day and cake by… well, whenever I can squeeze it in! 😂📊🎂

I absolutely love the creative side of baking and creating cakes from all different genres. Whether it’s elegant, fun, colourful, quirky or completely personal to the person I’m making it for, I love bringing an idea to life and seeing the finished cake come together. 💕🎂

I used to do lots of detailed fondant work, but unfortunately arthritis means my hands don’t always allow me to create those really fine details anymore. It’s been an adjustment, but I’ve found new ways to be creative and I’m still just as passionate about making cakes that look amazing and, most importantly, taste delicious! ❤️

Baked by Stacey is something I’m incredibly proud of. It’s my little creative corner alongside work, mum life, family, travelling and everything else life throws at me!

I’m so grateful to every single person who has ordered from me, recommended me, supported my business, liked or shared a post, or simply followed along with my baking journey. Every order really does mean so much. 🥰

Mum requested if possible a touch of green and as I felt adding green buttercream would clash I added some green cars for the birthday boy as a keepsake 😍

jadi has been a customer since her baby shower for Arlo and here we are now at his 5th birthday!!
This cake was so fun to make and the design was a combination of a number of inpsiration pictures. With help and recommendation of Laylas prints using a design they recently created for the amazing Cake fairy we came up with this fun design.
