17/07 It’s Friday!! Which must be Survived Another Week of Summer Eat, Sorry, Heat Day! Time to Celebrate! Open 8.30 – 1.00pm, 4 – 6pm.

Really busy replenishing the pies, and working on some Friday and weekend orders… so I will just say Welcome to Friday, come and visit us if you can, weather permitting 🤣 It looks like it may be cooling and there’s lots fresh on the Cake Table… lovely Cheesecake, Jam & Cream Scones, Cheese Scones, Chocolate Milky Way just out.....

Thursday 16/07 Open today 8.30 – 1.00pm, 4 – 6pm.

Lemon Meringue and …. Jam & Clotted Cream Scones today…. alongside a dreamy Lemon and Berry Crumble Cheesecake (pictured).

Chocolate Malteser is back (pictured), Creamy Biscoff also new on (pictured), Coffee & Walnut, (pictured) all the regulars in sparkling new form…. Also Lemon & Raspberry, Black Forest, Triple Chocolate….. Strawberry & White Chocolate, Large Cupcakes…. lots of brownies

We’ve got Sticky Toffee Puddings and Apple Crumbles, Apple Danish, Paradise Slices, Almond Slices and Bakewell Slices. A few reduced items for end of lines. Smartie and Dark & White Fudge are replenished, there’s seven flavours to choose from… Swiss Chocolate Bars are in the fudge fridge too, and there’s a table full of old fashioned sweets

Tuesday 14/07 Open today 8.30 – 1.00pm, 4 – 6pm. Cash and Card Welcome 😊

Welcome to another week, very mindful that it’s yet very warm for many of our customers, and that does affect people’s ability to get out, so please do come and see us if you are able. We’d love to see you. Take care either way and look after yourself.

Today, we’ve got a few lighter items for the table…. Jam & Cream Scones suit the weather nicely, of course there’s bulging Vanilla Slices… we’ve tried our hand at Custard Cream Brownies (pictured), Almond Slices with strawberry jam (pictured), Bakewell Slices (Iced with blackcurrant jam, pictured)….

Apple Danish (pictured), a Red Velvet & Banoffi Meringue Cake, the usuals in terms of iced Victoria etc… Chocolate Orange waiting to get on the table along with Lemon & Raspberry Meringue. Fresh Triple Chocolate Brownies in GF, also a GF St Clements.

We’ve got Paradise slices too – a lady suggested these to me and they are becoming a real hit! A lady last weekend suggested Russian Cake…. All we can say is its quite alcoholic and we’re on with testing the recipe. It needs far more testing in fact. Hic. May be ready later in the week, if we’re still standing.

There’s also quite a lot of end of line yumminess on the reduced table…

Fresh Bread, the Lakes Fudge fridge is newly restocked - Smartie and Dark & White flavours are freshly cut....

Friday 10/07 Open today 8.30 – 1.00pm. Looks like it will be very warm for the 4 – 6.00pm – we’ll be open but all will be in the chiller so don’t be put off by that 😊 Cash and Card Welcome.

We’ve made more Cupcakes for today of the free variety to celebrate Englands progress… feel free to remind me as I did sometimes forget to offer them out yesterday!

Alongside the regulars…. New to Friday’s Cake table is a favourite – Vanilla & Battenburg…. (pictured). We’ve also got a Lakes Fudge Chocolate Strawberry Cake! (pictured) a Coffee & Caramel Cake (pictured), and a new Apple Sponge Meringue.

We have both Plain & Cheese Scones. Tiffin has been replenished…. There’s a great range of Cake and Bake goodies to choose from…..
