The Millom Palladium Craft Fair is always one of the highlights of our year - and we're looking forward to this one already!!

Let’s tell you what’s NEW this week…. We’e still ushering autumn in with Dark Chocolate & Raspberry Cake (pictured) – rich, sticky, flavoursome and moreish – also Vegan!!

We’ve jazzed up the Biscoff (pictured), so a three tier this week… all biscuity, caramelly with swirls of white chocolate.

A nod to all the Lemon lovers…. We have Lemon Bakewell – also gluten free (pictured).

Katie’s been making cookies (pictured)…. They’re on SPECIAL OFFER at 50p for the Triple Chocolate with White Icing, and On Offer at £1 for the Cookie Dough/Chocolate ones

Thank you to all who visited at the weekend – it was simply lovely to catch up with people ☺️

As we get such a lot of birthday cake requests etc… I thought a post to clarify that we don’t embark on decorated, piped Birthday or Wedding cakes may help.

We are pleased to offer the cakes which you see up for sale by the slice in The Bakery.

We have date scones, as they come or with jam & cream. Banoffi Cake (GF) has made it on to the Saturday table! So has Apple Danish! Pretty much a restock of yesterday with a couple of additions – Battenburg is back out again (pictured) and we have some new flavours of large Cupcakes (pictured). It's Date Scones today - as they come, or with Jam & Cream.

We also welcome another lovely new range of cards, this time from Nice Things by Helena, all priced at £2.

04/09 The First Fabulous Fat Friday of September!! Open 8.30 – 4.15pm 😊

Here we go…. Cakes a-plenty… and we’ve been very experimental this week to welcome in autumn and the “Bers”, making the most of the fruits of the season, and getting ready to enjoy cosy nights with cake…

First to all things new off the production line…. We’ve a new Brownie – Millionnaires (pictured). And a new flapjack – Chocolate & Raspberry Meringue (pictured twice!).

In Cakes, we've a delicious Apple Crumble Cake (pictured), and even a Halloween flavour creeping in (we’ll start Christmas next week) – A Pumpkin Spiced Latte Cake (pictured). A variation on Coffee Cake – Cappuccino with added spice, works really well and it’s also gluten free!!

Did someone say Christmas? Just a quick nod – Mincemeat & Almond Tart.

Last but by no means least – Fresh Strawberry & White Chocolate Crumble Cupcakes. Tiffin lovers will be pleased to know it has made it back to the bake section. Pear & Chocolate Sponge Squares are also new and ready for a try.
