We have many designs across a range of styles to choose from or we can design a cake using your own ideas to create something completely unique. Most cakes can be made in sponge, lemon or vanilla with jam & buttercream; carrot or fruit; or off course chocolate. Tiered cakes can be a mixture of flavours. All our cakes are hand made using traditional recipes. with good quality ingredients, such as free range eggs, & hand sifted dried fruits to eliminate as many pips & stalks as possible. Our fruit cakes are matured & fed with brandy to produce a rich moist cake. Chocolate cakes are filled with chocolate ganache & can be covered with ganache & belgian chocolate scrolls for a really chocolate finish. We take care to produce a cake which really tastes as good as it looks. Our flowers & modelling work is handcrafted in sugar & can be kept as a momento of the day. All cakes vary in price according to the size, filling & detail involved, as a guide: Celebration cakes start at £50. Wedding cakes start at £250 for a 2 tier cake, £350 for a 3 tier & £400 for a 4 tier. Individual cakes are from £7.00 per cake (which serves 2 portions) & £3.00 for cup cakes. We also have a range of single, 2,3 & 4 tier chrome stands for hire at £15 for a 4 day period.
