From a tray of buttercream roses… to a full luxury cupcake bouquet 💐🩷✨

There’s something so satisfying about watching all the individual flowers come together into the finished design 🌸🧁

This bouquet featured a mix of large and mini baby pink roses and was created for a 21st birthday celebration — soft, elegant and so pretty ✨

I always love adding different rose sizes into bouquets because it creates so much depth, texture and realism, making the finished arrangement look even more like a real flower bouquet 💛

Cupcake bouquets like this make such a beautiful centrepiece or gift for special birthdays and celebrations 🥹💐

There is honestly nothing more rewarding than watching someone realise they CAN do this 🥹✨

Abby travelled all the way from France for three days of private 1:1 tuition with me 🇫🇷🧁

On day one, she piped her very first buttercream rose and created her first ever 7 cupcake bouquet 💐🌹

When the kitchen is basically a sauna… you relocate 😂🔥

So today’s piping setup is officially in the dining room while I work on these vibrant orange gerberas for a cupcake and cake order 🌻🧁

I always get asked about colours, so here’s the combo I used for this flower:
✨ ProGel Orange
✨ Colour Splash Sunflower

Mixing shades like this helps create more depth and realism in the petals — especially for bright summer flowers like these ☀️

I also always work from a flower plan before piping a bouquet so I can balance the colours and placement before assembling everything together.

Now excuse me while I try not to melt between cupcakes 😅

I loved creating this cupcake bouquet from scratch using inspiration from some real flower bouquets. This was a special 18th Birthday - perfect for a centrepiece and tasty to share with all your guests 💛😋💝

I always love this part of the process ✨

Before any piping starts, I usually sketch out a rough bouquet plan first — mapping out where the larger flowers will sit, balancing colours, and making sure the arrangement flows beautifully from every angle.

It might just look like a simple pencil drawing, but these little plans make such a difference when creating the final cupcake bouquet 🌼

Seeing the finished design come together exactly how I imagined it is honestly one of the most satisfying parts of the whole process 💛
