With all the new faces joining the page I thought I’d come on and introduce myself for those of you who may not know me.
Hi, my name is Aleeah, I’m a 23 year old self taught baker that found a passion for baking during the 2020 covid lockdown, from starting off in my parents kitchen (and making a huge mess, sorry dad 😬) I carried the love of baking to my own home in my small kitchen to keep improving my skill and practicing my recipes.
When I started baking I had just thought of it as a way to pass the time and everyone on TikTok and instagram started doing it, so naturally I did too (you could say I was influenced 🙈), but I quickly learnt that it’s not as easy as they made it out to be and it took patience and skill that I didn’t have at the time. With plenty of time to practice I started with shortbread, then moved into cookies, then brownies and cakes and everything in between, figuring out which recipes worked and why and how to make them my own.
With starting my own little page, I’ve been able to create birthday cakes, brownie stacks, brownie boxes and even wedding cakes. It makes me so incredibly happy being able to create something that can be so unique and personal to the individual that they love it just as much as I do! 🥰
