*Pre-orders open* 🎃 Spooky season has arrived at Salt & Crumb, in focaccia form of course! Sweet potato ‘pumpkins’ with cheddar and rosemary - grab a slice alongside some warming soup before heading out trick or treating.

Orders are open for Wednesday, Friday and Saturday delivery & collection! This week I'm highlighting my signature sun-dried tomato & roasted garlic loaf, which is the loaf that started it all! The sweetness of the roasted garlic pairs so well with the saltiness of the tomato - highly recommend toasting, then slathering it in butte!

Wow, what can I say! We were completely overwhelmed by the turnout for our tasting afternoon at today! Lovely to see so many new faces enjoying our signature loaves and new festive bakes which have been baked with sharing in mind for the holiday season 🎄✨ Pleased our new sage & onion stuffing loaf was so well received (as it's my personal favourite in this launch!). Thank you to everyone who came out to The Stables at Port Eliot this afternoon and helped to demolish our spread! It was lovely to meet you, chat all things sourdough and hear such great feedback on my festive menu. A massive thank you to The Stables for lending your gorgeous space, Micromarketing Cornwall for coordinating a fabulous festive shoot and making this event possible for my little microbakery and finally, Larches and Blooms providing gorgeous flowers for our table. As a microbakery we don’t often get the chance to showcase our delicious bakes to new customers and even if we are a little biased, they deserve their own moment in the spotlight! 👩‍🍳🍞
We’ve been busy thinking ahead to the festive season, trialling new recipes, tweaking ratios and perfecting that balance between crunchy crust and the soft and tender inner crumb - perfect for sharing and dipping into your favourite festive cheeses. We are delighted with what we’ve been able to create for the Christmas party season and we hope you’ll join us at our FREE tasting afternoon on Friday 9th October.
You’ll find us at The Stables at Port Eliot between 12.30 - 2.30pm. We’ll be bringing along plenty to tuck into, including our signature sun-dried tomato and garlic loaf, speciality sourdough, focaccia and our tear and share festive platters with accompanying sides & dips 🤤 It’ll be a treat for the senses and a delight on the tastebuds - that we can promise! You can also grab coffee & cake from the on-site cafe! ❤️ We hope to see you there.

🚲 The bike's getting ready for another weekend of bread deliveries around Looe! If you enjoyed yesterday's little glimpse into life at Salt & Crumb, here's the important bit - this weekend's menu is now OPEN for orders!

I'll be baking fresh on Friday and Sunday this week, with limited quantities available.

Whether you're after a loaf for the weekend, to stave off the Monday blues, something to share or a little treat..

And yes… the bread bike will be back out doing its rounds. 😉
