Simple and elegant, just like the beautiful birthday girl.

Three tier semi naked cake(2 lemon cake, 1 Victoria sponge) covered in vanilla buttercream.

I totally underestimated the difficulty of this cake. There really was nowhere to hide! It needed perfectly level layers, perfectly straight sides, a crumb coat which shows no crumbs (!!!!) and the extra tall tiers really emphasise any wonky stacking. I loved the challenge!

It’s so pretty!

I’ve never put much thought into packaging apart from how well it will protect its precious cargo but for a gift I guess it does play a role in adding to an already thoughtful gesture.

So for my cookies I’ve decided to go for all recyclable materials and a simple natural look… a bit like me 😏

Sooo gooo-ey!

Only thing better than freshly baked warm from the oven is freshly baked cinnamon apple cookies warm from the oven 🍎🍪

Love the crispy outside then the slightly chewy edges and the ooey-gooey middle 🤤

Oatmeal Raisin… to me, the prettiest of doughs. Just love how organic and rustic it looks. Then the cinnamon just makes it smell so heavenly 😍

Quick little cutie I decided to do last minute.

Vanilla cake, cream cheese filling and covered in Ruby chocolate ganache and a white chocolate drip.

I love the dusty pink tones of the Ruby chocolate against creamy white chocolate.

Super quick cheat cake when you have no time but a special friend you want to “make” a birthday cake for.

This was a shop bought pandan chiffon cake that I separated into 4 layers and filled and finished with Crème Chantilly and fresh berries.

Dusted off the old cake tins for this little beauty. Less is more.

This 2 tier simple and elegant birthday cake is 4 layers each of vanilla and raspberry ripple cake filled with white chocolate ganache, fresh raspberries and homemade raspberry filling covered with a white chocolate ganache buttercream.

Finally got a chance to do some baking! Opted for these apple crumble and custard inspired baked milk bread doughnuts 🍩

Baked Japanese filled with stewed apples and whipped and topped with crunchy oat crumble. All made from scratch, all homemade 💪🏼

Who knew yogurt lemon cake could be so yummy? 🤤

Made for the lovely staff because they are so wonderful (and I had 1kg of Greek yogurt to use because Chris bought the wrong one) 😏

The yogurt makes this cake so moist and tangy pairing so well with the lemon and by separating the eggs and folding in the whipped egg whites the sponge is super light!

Topped with some lemon glaze and meringue for texture 🍋
