The second birthday cake for my Mum - this time for her (covid safe) surprise birthday party to make up for the missed 70th birthday last year. Hidden inside was a gorgeous chocolate cake with chocolate buttercream. Then decorated with vanilla buttercream flowers, gold paint and sprinkles. So pretty 🌸🌷

Pretty in pink...check out this mini ruffle cake, which I have always fancied trying and the perfect opportunity arose with my Mum’s birthday today. Inside is the most luscious chocolate cake with chocolate buttercream. I don’t get to see the inside of my cakes usually but I was pretty damn happy about the right angles inside (hence the random inside shot!) Happy Birthday Mum! 💕💕💕
