The SWBA is a limited company, formed in 2007, with the aim of improving the condition of Merton Park Industrial Estate and supporting the many and diverse businesses located within it. Through the enthusiastic and voluntary efforts of our member company representatives and our part-time, paid estate co-ordinator, we have secured substantial inward investment to upgrade the estate and achieve our
aims. We have a volunteer committee of 12 who seek to organise and implement actions to address issues raised by SWBA members and to enhance the business community on the estate. This includes the provision of CCTV, disposal of litter, issues arising from fly-tipping, improved footpaths and signage. We work closely with the Metropolitan Police in an effort to keep on-site crime to a minimum. Informal SWBA meetings are held at 12.30pm on the first Thursday of every month to discuss current issues and agree actions which may be required.
