1. Queen Vic: Layers of Soft Vanilla Sponge, Madagascan Vanilla Swiss Meringue Buttercream & Raspberry Preserve.
2. Miss Lemonade: Lemon Drizzle Sponge steeped in Lemon Sugar Syrup, layered with freshly made Lemon Curd and a silky Lemon Swiss Meringue Buttercream.
3. Pink Lemonade: Lemon Drizzle Sponge steeped in Lemon Sugar Syrup, layered with silky Raspberry Swiss Meringue Buttercream.
4. Chocolate Decadence: Soft Chocolate Sponge, layered with Dark Belgian Chocolate Ganache and Chocolate Swiss Meringue Buttercream.
5. Salted Caramel Deluxe: Soft Caramelised Sponge layered with Caramel Swiss Meringue Buttercream and Pure Salted Caramel

It’s been a bit since I said Hi! Even if it’s from behind a mask (at least you can’t see my concentration face) 😂.

For anyone I haven't 'met' yet: Hi! I’m Rica, the Cake Artist behind Alchemy, I love creating incredible cakes for you to make epic memories with. If you're here you probably covet all the pretty things with a sense of fun and playfulness, but are a real foodie at heart, so things HAVE to taste as good as they look.

Few random facts...
- I just got an acoustic Fender (shiny & black 😁) so I’m attempting to teach myself guitar with
- How I learned to bake as a kid: my mum refused to buy desserts from a supermarket 'because we can make better at home' (child labour, clearly)
- I have a mini me 3 year old, who still gets upset every time a cake leaves the house, reckon I have 2 more years before I can get her working for me 😉

Featured on today! Absolutely love this shot by London Wedding Photographer] - not least because if your cake doesn't taste as beautiful as it looks, it's pretty pointless. I pride myself on the lightness, texture and taste of everything I create.

That's why every Cake is individually created with the best ingredients, time, care and attention to detail. Pure Butter, Free Range Eggs, Premium Madagascan Vanilla and Belgian Courverture Chocolate. These are just a few of the “basics”.

Bringing some happy brights to you on a Monday! Mini Cakes are still flying out, a great way to make a celebration a little special even when it's just a few of you.

Pretty much everything I do is bespoke, but often I have to say no to your smaller celebrations because there isn't time to turn around the design work.

So for those last minute: "OMG I need a cake, just show me a pretty cake!!" moments, I'm thinking I might keep a few preset designs to purchase direct via the website and delivered throughout London. See the cake, buy the cake and have it delivered throughout London the next week. Simples!

(My minor visual ocd freak is having fits at the quality of this photo, light had left and I refuse to use artificial light for food photography cos you know I do not want my food looking like supermarket food 🤦🏻‍♀️ but portrait mode HATES low light and I so forget)
